In line with the Government’s efforts to thank the Merdeka Generation for their contributions to nation building, the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group (SNDGG) would like to honour the Merdeka Generation by inviting them to a special Smart Breakfast with Merdeka Generation event on 28 July 2019, 10am to 2pm, at the Lifelong Learning Institute. Besides indulging in the free breakfast spread, seniors will also learn about the latest applications and technologies that will enable them to stay healthy, active and connected. To encourage them to try the various applications, seniors will also enjoy special deals curated exclusively for them by exhibitors.
The Smart Breakfast with Merdeka Generation is part of the Smart Nation Cares for Merdeka Generation initiative by SNDGG to drive excitement and awareness among seniors about the benefits of Singapore’s Smart Nation journey, and to empower seniors with the knowledge and ability to harness the opportunities of digital technologies for daily living. Besides Merdeka Generation seniors (i.e. born between 1 January 1950 and 31 December 1959), seniors who were born on or before 31 December 1959 are also invited to the Smart Breakfast with Merdeka Generation. They will be eligible for the free breakfast and special discounts.
